Post stuff I like and for future reference. I don't follow many Tumblr's since it makes me anxious having to look at so many posts but you are welcome to follow me. :)
Bloom by Kristine Five Melvær.
Bloom is a series of three table lamps inspired by forms from the nature. Like big drops, the shades may be associated with buds, fruits or water, while the seams in the construction are reminiscent of fibers. The steel structures have different heights, which contribute to the association of organic bodies.
Materials: Welded steel structure, printed canvas.

Button Clips by Studio Swine.
“Studio Swine has created a set of brass buttons to adorn and customise everyday clothing items. The Button Clips simply slide on and off existing buttons without being permanently fixed to one garment. The buttons were made for the ‘Once Removed’ exhibition at New York Design Week 2012.”

Little Axiom 2
“Paperse is a flower vase made from paper. By using it, you can keep lively flowers on desk or wall easily. You can make it easily by folding, because it is made from thick paper. When you use it together with vinyl tube in which water can be contained, you can preserve flower for a long time. When you write a brief memo or letter on the front surface of vase and present it for your precious person together with flower, it will be more valuable. Produce your space more beautifully with a piece of flower and “Paperse” flower vase.”

Seasons Serving Plates by Nao Tamura.
“Seasons” is an interpretation of functional kitchen and serving ware, inspired by nature and technology, through the cultural lens of Japan. Like a real leaf, each serving dish is flexible and multi-purpose, enjoys its own shape, stackable in its open state, and in multiples, creating a sculptural display of serving artware.

Gold Wedding Ring by Torafu Architects.
A wedding ring which gradually changes its appearance as it is worn.
Coated on the surface of the gold ring is a thin layer of silver, and as time passes the silver rubs off to reveal the gold inside. The time shared between two people can thus be felt with the wearing of this ring.
As a result of the shape of the ring section, which comes in either round or square, the gold is revealed in different ways.
I dislike wearing any sort of ring on my hands since I find them uncomfortable, but I think I would put up with this. Beautiful and romantic concept.
